I found a 1952 Vespa Allstate in a barn that had 200 other bikes in it. It took me all day to get the guy to agree to sell it to me. It went home in my truck. I am going to try and restore this really really really old Vespa. I am no expert. Hopefully this will be interesting and informative. I will try to update frequently and stay on topic.

Dude! Congratulations. That is the coolest. You worked hard and you got that gorgeous bike looking and running like new. The video you posted left us wanting more. Post some extended bits when/if possible. What was the problem with the spark (from when you had it last in the shop)? All hail The Redeemer, The Savior, The Messiah of old Vespas!
awesome accomplishment! 50's vespas in my opinion have the nicest anti-lines of all scooters. i'm in the process of resurrecting a 1958 allstate vna. i'm guessing the allstate legshield emblem came with the scoot. if not, where might i find one?
